The Theme in this story is the loneliest are the most friendly but if you take it for granted they become hostile.
Odysseus and his men stake out the Cyclops, not knowing what the cave had held.
The cave held a monster. He had one eye. Though he seemed kind at the introduction of the himself Odysseus sort of provoked him through out the story
Since the men had provoked the Cyclops in a way he had became hostile
When the men stabbed the cyclops the cyclops became the most hostile than he had ever been before.
And by shouting at the cyclops Odysseus proves my theme of the most loneliest people can be the most kind but the most hostile.
