  • You all are to shoot the protestors if they get annoying!
  • People were not happy that they were still in war so a group of people called soviets formed.
  • We promise to end war and to give land back to peasants.
  • Good boys.
  • Russian people were angry because many soldiers were dying in the war. The government had started to ration bread and the people did not like it.
  • Aha! Me and my pack will take over Russia and there's nothing you can do about it.
  • The soldiers refused against Czar Nicholas's orders and joined protesting with others. Czar lost his power. Nicholas was forced to step down as czar of Russia.
  • We are now called communists.
  • The Bolsheviks became powerful by supporting the soviets. Under leadership of Vladimir Lenin the Bolsheviks promised to end war.
  • 1922
  • Our country is now called USSR! After the soviets!
  • The Bolsheviks overthrew the temporary government and seized power.
  • Fine you win...
  • The Bolsheviks renamed themselves as communists. Not everyone was happy with the communists.
  • Boo communists!
  • Lenin organized Russia into several self-governing republics that all answered to the central government. The country was renamed the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics or USSR.
