  • Sally really loves animals. Her favorite animal is the owl. She knows a lot about owls, but she doesn't know if the owl can turn it's head all the way around. Sally decided to learn more about it.
  • Experiment
  • Sally decided to get on the computer to see if she could find out more about the owl. She came across a lot of interesting facts about owls but not what she was looking for.
  • Analyze Data
  • 6 Teachers Surveyed Head turns all the way around - 2 Head turns partially - 4
  • Sally thinks the owl can turn it's head all the way around, but she wonders if that is actually true.
  • Conclusion
  • I learned something new about owls!
  • Sally went to her boarding school to ask her teachers what they thought about her favorite animal and if they knew if the owl could turn it's head all the way around. These were the smartest people she knew.

  • After Sally spoke with all her teachers, she analyzed the data she had collected. Not all the teachers thought the owl could turn. Sally was surprised by this!
  • In conclusion, Sally found out that the owl cannot turn it's head all the way around. It actually can only turn it's head 270 degrees. It seems like the owl can turn it's head all the way around, but it actually cannot! Sally learned something new!
