  • Macbeth,Thane of Glamis, Cawdor then king. Banquo, less but greater, not happy but happier, he will father a line of kings.
  • It was a dark rainy night and the war had just ended. Macbeth and Banquo were on their way back to the castle when they saw the three witches. The witches started speaking to them about the prophecies.
  • BEWARE MACDUFF
  • BEWARE MACDUFF
  • After Macbeth found out that one of his prophecies was that he would become King, he went straight to tell his wife. Who then encouraged him to kill the King. That night, while Duncan was sleeping, Macbeth went into his room and killed him. Then Lady Macbeth wiped the blood on the guards to blame them.
  • No man born of a women shall harm you.
  • Once Macbeth finally became King, he started to get paranoid about Banquo's prophecy of fathering a line of kings. So Macbeth decides to hire two murders to get ride of Banquo and Fleance. In the process Fleance ended up escaping and Banquo was the only one killed.
  • You shall not be defeated until the Birnam Wood starts moving towards you.
  • Macbeth went to see the three witches again after finding out that Fleance had escaped. He wanted to find out more about the future. When he asked them about the future they started to tell him about the three apparitions. The first one was that he should beware Macduff.
  • The witches went on to tell him about the second apparition, which was that no man born of a women could harm or kill Macbeth. Which made Macbeth become very confident in not being able to die.
  • Lastly, the third apparition was that he should not be defeated until the Birnam Wood marches across Dunsinane Hill to fight him. After Macbeth heard the three apparitions he still wanted more information. He wanted know if Fleance would ever rule his kingdom. The witches wouldn't give him anymore information.
