  • Women's March on Versailles
  • We want bread!
  • Declaration of the Rights of Man
  • The Declaration of the Rights of Man
  • Reign of Terror
  • The women march on Versailies in October 1789, rioting over the rising price of bread and wanted the king and queen to return to Paris. They achieved their goals which signaled the change of power and radical reforms.
  • Execution of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette
  • The Declaration said men are born and remain free of rights and equal rights, they had privileges such as liberty property, security, and resistance to oppression. This Declaration provided equal justice, freedom of speech and freedom of religion for the people of France.
  • Rise of Napoleon
  • I am Napoleon Bonaparte, soon to do great things for France.
  • The Reign of Terror was a period of time were terror reigned France and tons of people were killed. Maximilian Robespierre was in control of this time. 
  • Fall of Napoleon
  • Well.. this is my second time being shipped away.
  • Both Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette were executed. Louis was executed because he was accused of treason, same with Marie Antoinette. France didn't really like them because they put France in debt, because of all their spending. They were both killed by the guillotine.
  • Napoleon came into power in 1799, he was a very strong military leader. He won many crucial battles. He set up a method of tax collection and established a national banking system. He also took steps to end corruption in the government. Well in power he also set up lycées. He created the Napoleonic code.
  • Napoleons downfall started when he wanted to keep Great Britain from trading and putting a blockade in the ports. It wasn't successful and Britain could get through. They then did the same thing back to France. Second he
