This storyboard does not have a description.
Miyax’s father Kapugen, is a great Eskimo hunter. Unfortunately, the law required him to send Miyax off to school, and while she was away, he disappeared at sea. Miyax, or her english name Julie, was shipped off to a town called Barrow, where she found herself in an arranged marriage to a troubled boy named Daniel.
Julie didn’t really love Daniel so she ran away and became Miyax once again. She is heading to San Francisco to meet her pen pal, amy. But now she is lost in the forest and striving for food.
Miyax heard that Kapugen joined a wolf pack to get food and stay alive. So she tries the same thing. First of all, Miyax needs to get their trust.
Using wolf gestures, mannerism and howls she gains their trust and becomes the member of the wolf pack led by Amaroq. She now has access to food.
One day, Amaroq gets shot by a hunting plane. Devastated, Miyax knew she couldn’t return to the civilization. But She then finds out by a passing hunter that Kapugen is still alive. She goes on the journey to find him.
When Miyax meets Kapugen she finds out that he no longer lives like a Eskimo. He even hunts from planes. Disgusted, Miyax runs away again, but then returns when Tornait dies from the cold. Tornait is the bird the Miyax found and was taking care of him.
