Storyboard Text

  • I don't know what this means. Prime factorization
  • What what means. Oh that's easy
  • Can you give me a guess on what it is. Close but it's when a whole number is broken up in prime factors.
  • Then you find all the prime factors and mulitply them to get the number you started with.
  • I don't know something with prime numbers. Oh so that what it is.
  • it says i have to do 36. 6 and 6 do.
  • Ok lets work through the problem. So what 2 numbers equal 36? Good 6 and 6 do make 36.
  • what other numbers can be broken down?
  • 6 and 6 can be broken down into 3 and 2 and the other 6 can also be broken down into 3 and 2.
  • So what is the prime factorization?
  • It's 2 x 2 x 3 x 3= 36
  • Now do one on your own. Do 48.
  • and 4 cam be broken down into 2 and 2 and 6 can be broken down in 3 and 2. So it's 2 x 2 x 2 x 3.
  • Well i know 48 can be broken down into 8 and 6 then 8 can be broken down into 4 and 2.
