  • Hi Dr Judy!
  • Hello there Hina Habib!
  • I've decided I want to start eating healthy as I want to make sure my baby is healthy.
  • So how can I help you today?
  • For breakfast; ham and cheese crossaint, lunch; sushi, and for dinner; wonton noodles.
  • What are you eating currently?
  • The dietitian and the patient greet eachother.
  • Deli meats can be contaminated with listeria, which can cause miscarriage. Pork is a deli meat so I recommend you stop eating that.
  • Raw meat can cause the risk of contamination with caliform bacteria, toxoplasmosis and salmonella, so you should stop eating sushi.
  • You can eat wonton noodles while you're pregnant.
  • Hina Habib tells Dr Judy that she wants to start eating healthy for her baby's health.
  • Let's start making a healthy eating plan for you. I will give you some options on what to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner and you choose which ones you would like to put in your plan.
  • That sounds good!

  • A slice of whole-wheat toast with peanut butter, a whole-wheat bagel with low-fat cream cheese, a carton of yogurt with chopped nuts and fresh fruit is another calcium-rich breakfast. A glass of fortified orange juice is rich in calcium and supplies vitamin C.
