The llama is breathing in the air from the tree. The air was created from a process called photosynthesis. The tree uses its chloroplasts to make food and oxygen, the food it makes out of light energy is glucose.
The camel breathes out carbon dioxide. The tree that gives it oxygen needs carbon dioxide to do the process of photosynthesis.
The oxygen moves to the llama's cells. The camel is using the oxygen in a process called respiration. Part of respiration is breathing.
The gorilla also can give the tree carbon dioxide, it can go through the same process with the plant as the llama, it will receive oxygen and get energy during respiration.
This man running is using more oxygen than the llama or gorilla standing still are. He needs more energy because he is more active than the animals. Eventually he could become out of breath is he doesn't get enough oxygen and will breath harder for him.
The equation for respiration is C6H12O6+6O2→6CO2+6H2O+ energy. This is what makes humans and animals breath, make energy and live
