  • Romeo is a Montague, a dreamer, and not a fighter. Juliet is a Capulet, a spunky girl who doesn't blindly obey. The story is in Verona, Italy in the late 1600s and early 1700s.
  • Climax
  • Romeo and Juliet fall in love at first sight. Although, their families hate each other. They are blinded by love and continue their love even with consequences
  • Falling Action
  • Despite the family hate, Romeo and Juliet go to Friar Lawrence. They marry in secret. Prior to their marriage, Romeo arrives to find Tybalt and Mercutio fighting. Romeo get in the middle resulting in Mercutio's death.
  • Exposition
  • Because of Mercutio death, Romeo goes to Tybalt and kills him to avenge him. Romeo gets banished for killing Tybalt. Juliet becomes devastated for the death of her cousin and the banishment of her husband.
  • In the end, Romeo and Juliet are dead. The Capulet and Montague settle their difference over their deceased children. They built statues in remembrance of Romeo and Juliet.
