The Jews were believed to have poisoned the air and water. They were isolated from the Christian society and would have to wear a badge to show their separation. If Jews were found, they would be persecuted.
The church lost much of its power and control over many things. There were less educated priests to serve as they were either busy attending to victims of the plague or they had died. Although the Church became richer due to more people donating hoping for forgiveness from God, Christianity lost popularity due to the population dying so quickly.
The Peasants Revolt was an attempt by the peasants to maintain the better conditions that they had received due to the depopulation brought by the plague. As a consequence, peasants weren't willing to work for the landlords, as they wanted to work on their own land. As a result the power of government changed.
