A teenage female student by the name of Natalie, attends St. Jean de Brebeuf Catholic High School. Natalie’s life has pertained many events that she has moved past and became stronger, although you will soon find out the one event that becomes life changing. Natalie has many influences in her life that try their best to push her to move past this difficulty in her life. Mental health begins to play a big role in Natalie’s life as she experiences a traumatic event.
Natalie realizes that her dog Max has passed away
Well… my dog died and I haven’t been able to focus on anything. My parents don’t even care. (sarcastic) They said “We’ll get another one,” like anyone can replace Max?
The death of Natalie’s dog has really taken a toll on her. She seems to only feel sadness wherever she may be. Home, school, and work
It is the weekend and Natalie’s friends want to go out.Natalie has not been eating since the death of her dog. It has taken a toll on her physical health. She has experienced unhealthy weight loss, a lack of energy, and starts to get sick.
As you can see, Natalie becomes anti-social as she does not want to see any of her friends. Natalie's room becomes a mess. This shows that she has lost the will to do simple tasks like cleaning her room. (shows dirty room) A week has passed, her friends and family begin to become concerned. Natalie has not showed up to work the past week and gets fired. Natalie reacts.
