  • Today we will be going back in time and meeting people who live in St. Augustine, Jamestown, Roanoke, Plymouth, and St. Mary's City.
  • hello i am in St. Augustine i will tell you about St. Augustine,More than 13,000 people live here. there is an a marvelous white and black striped lighthouse. St. Augustine is a city in Northeast Florida and it is the first city in america. St. Augustine was founded in September of 1565 by Spanish admiral and Florida's first governor. St. Augustine has its own marvelous white and black striped lighthouse.
  • St. Mary's county is the birth place of Maryland. The island was small, so the ships traveled further south. Leonard Calvert bought about 30 miles below the Wicomico River. Tobacco was a labor intensive crop linked closely with the development of slavery in Maryland.
  • how are ya'll i live in Jamestown, it is a wonderful place about 31,146 people live here including me. Jamestown was founded in 1607. It was located on Jamestown Island, in Virginia about 30 miles up the James River from the Atlantic coast. The arrival of Lord De La Warr in the colony, who was supposed to be our new governor gave us the courage to go on living in the region.
  • Hello, i will be talking about Roanoke the population is 97,032. The Roanoke colony is known as the lost colony no one knows what happened to the colonists at Roanoke. The island and surroundings were first sighted by Europeans when English explorers Philip Amadas and Arthur Barlowe sailed by in 1584, at the behest of Sir Walter Raleigh.
  • As you can see i am in plymouth, a long time ago i rode the mayflower, there was 102 people on the ship including me. When the very cold winter came half of the people on the mayflower died. Finally in March of 1621 we landed in plymouth.
