the aral was right right here right where we stand now it lies 55mil away to the north now this is nothing but a dried up desert
the arial was fed bye two major rivers having no outflow the seas water levelwas maintaine and it was the major source of whater for the uzbek
things chanced when Uzbek s.s.r became part of the fledgling soviet empire and hand dug thousand of miles of canals to Chanel water into the desert.
up until 1660 the system was stable but over the years Philip mimicking watched as the sea demised firsthand. when they added more canals in 1960 it was the end of the sea. the soviets knew what they where doing but they didn't realize the consequences.
the water got so low it split in two two different into two different seas the northern sea and the southern sea go so low it slit into eastern and western seas last July the eastern sea dried entirely.
there is conflict between these country's because each claims ownership of the water or sea and the water is their only form of resource for the stans. in order to solve the conflict the stans formed a interstate commision for water coordination but the question is who owns the water.
