The British are Coming!
Colonists threatened British soldiers so the soldiers shot 5 of them. The jury in their trail listened to John Adams and said they were innocent and fighting in self defense.
Lexington and Concord
Colonists dumped boxes of teas into Boston Harbor to protest British taxes.
Paul Revere and several other tried to warn people that the British were going to try to destroy their ammunition and capture Sam Adams and John Hancock.
On the morning of the midnight ride, the British and Colonists had a battle. There were 4000 minutemen and the British would have lost if and extra 1000 soldiers didn't come for back up.
The British seized Bunker and Breeds Hill after the battle, but lost 1,000 soldiers .The colonists lost 400.
