The 3rd estate was hungry, and angry about the unfair taxes
Meanwhile the rich 2nd and 1st estates were well fed and paid no taxes
King Louis held a meeting of the Estates General to try and fix the economy...
But locked the 3rd estate out of the meeting, forcing them to hold their own meeting under the tennis court oath.
Enraged by the recent events, the 3rd estate stormed The Bastille, starting the French Revolution.
