Storyboard Text

  • Odysseus and his men arrive at the land of Lotus eaters
  • Please eat some lotus's
  • I want one !
  • Cyclops Island
  • That was a close one, I thought he was going to eat me like the others.
  •  MY EYE, MY EYE ! you will pay for this NOBODY, I WILL GET YOU BACK FOR THIS!!
  • This is our only way of escaping, now we wait until he moves the boulder out of the way.
  • Circe's Palace
  • Please just turn my men back into people so I can continue my journey home.
  • And what brings a man like you here ?
  • When Odysseus first arrived at the island, the Lotus Eaters offered Odysseus and his men some flowers that would make them want to stay forever and forgot about home. "Don't taste the flowers or you lose your hope of returning home" Odysseus pleaded.
  • The Underworld
  • As Odysseus and his men made it to cyclops island, they ran into an even bigger problem then the last, the CYCLOPS!!... As Odysseus and his crew walked into a cave looking for food and shelter, little did they know they were going to be trapped by a huge boulder. But with Odysseus's clever mind set the only way of escaping was to make the cyclops drunk enough to be able to blind him so he could escape without the cyclops noticing.
  • Scylla and Charybdis
  • OH NO! what am I going to do now to get home to my beloved Penelope.
  • As much as Circe would like to keep the new incomers as her pets, she lets them go and turns them back into people after she hinders Odysseus. Circe then helps Odysseus with his journey back home to Ithaca by telling him to sail to Hades and speak with the blind prophet Tiresias.
  • The return to Ithaca
  • I couldn't be any more happy then to be home with my family
  • After being sent to the Underworld by Circe, Odysseus is in hope of being able to gather information from the blind "prophet" Tiresias in help to guide him home. This brave quest almost cost Odysseus his life and almost lead him to giving up his soul.
  • I brought you here, this goat as a sacrifice for my life.
  • Odysseus now realizes that he has come in counter with Scylla and Charybdis but doesn't tell his men because he doesn't want them to panic. But soon enough Scylla eats most of Odysseus men, and right after, the Charybdis destroys his ship taking down one of the last men aboard. But Odysseus finds a way to escape, but the rest of his journey home is more unbreakable them before.
  • After 20 years of battle after battle and determination Odysseus finds his way back home without evening knowing it. The memories soon make his way back to his mind and his hope of returning back to his beloved wife Penelope and son Telemachus has came true.
  • I always knew you would find your way back home to me, I never lost hope.
