Storyboard Text

  • Third-Person Omniscient
  • "I am so late for basketball practice!"
  • Abby was late for practice and knew that she was going to be in so much trouble with her coach. Panic welled up inside her chest as she ran as fast as she could.
  • Coach Smith couldn't believe that Abby was walking in 10 minutes late. Abby knew that she had let herself and the team down. There was nothing left to do, but work hard to make it up to everyone.
  • "Abby! Where have you been? Do you think that we have nothing better to do than wait for you to show up?"
  • 5:30
  • Abby set her alarm clock to make sure that she was never late again!
  • First-Person
  • "I am so late for basketball practice! I am going to be in big trouble with coach."
  • I had gotten so wrapped up in my book, that I had left for practice late. I knew that coach and the other players were going to be mad at me.
  • The coach yelled at me when I walked into the gym. I felt so terrible. I knew that I would have to work really hard to make up for what I had done.
  • "Abby! Where have you been? Do you think that we have nothing better to do than wait for you to show up?"
  • 5:30
  • "I will not be late again!"
  • It takes 15 minutes to walk to the school, so I set my alarm clock for one half hour before practice.
