For 300 years the Roman Empire had been attacked by Germanic Tribes, then the Barbarians started to attack and take over cities and deplete the amount of troops.
The Roman Empire grew so much that it covered too much land and they did not have enough troops to cover all their land, so there was a lot of weak spots in their military.
The Romans then used a lot of their money on troops since as they grew they needed more. This dropped their economy a lot.
To counter this, Rome split into two regions, east and west. The Western Empire fell early from Government Corruption.
