  • Alexander Killed the Lycestian Brothers
  • The death of Attalus
  • A state funeral was held for Philip
  • Alexander Killed the Lyncestian brothers because they were a threat to his throne. He spared one of the brothers so as to not offend his friend.
  • Alex removed Taxes from the upper class
  • Alexander killed the General Attalus as he was also a threat to the throne, but he also supported the son of Cleopatra and Philp as the rightful king not Alexander
  • Alexander asserted his authority over the Greeks
  • Alexander held a state funeral to prove he held the same ideas and values as his father. It was also to dissuade rumors that Alex planed the murder and to show how much he loved his father.
  • Alexander then went on to conquer the world
  • Alexander removed taxes from the upper class families to help gain their political support and so they would back him on his further campaigns
  • Alex went into Greece against his advisers and established himself as the leader of the league of Corinth, effectively making himself leader of Greece (except for Sparta)
  • All hail King Alexander
