When Joshua and the Israelites got to the Jordan river, they found themselves in a predicament. They couldn't cross it.
Joshua, tell the priests to hold the ark of the covenant as they cross the Jordan and the water will recede.
God, what do I do, the people and I can't cross the Jordan.
As soon as the priests held the Ark and walked towards the water, the river dried up and the Israelites were able to cross.
I think we should take 12 stones as a way to remember when God dried the Jordan so we could cross!
