Best Performance of the Night
It was almost time for the concert to start. Izzie paced around the choir room, completely nerve racked. Liz tried to calm her down but it wasn't working. Izzie kept thinking that she would fail when her part of the song came. Liz continued to try to calm her down until Mr. Hounds came in to collect them. It was their turn for their solo.
Liz and Izzie silently walked onto the stage, met by a round of applause. They could see their other choir people in the background. Liz waved, smiling at all of them. Izzie gave them a weak smile and slowly walked over to her microphone. Liz walked over to her own and the music started, Liz singing her part first. Izzie sang next, not as afraid.
After their song, they received a standing ovation. Liz pointed at Izzie and introduced her to the audience. Izzie did the same for Liz. The crowd started hooting and Izzie and Liz both bowed. They were both very embarrassed when the crowd asked for an encore. The rest of the choir students were standing up and applauding their good friends. Liz and Izzie's performance was said to be the best of the night.
