Daniel Bernoulli was born on February 8, 1700, in Groningen, Netherlands. He lived the netherlands until he was five and moved to Basel, Switzerland.
Daniel parents were Johann Bernoulli and Dorothea Falkner. He had a older brother named Nicholas || Bernoulli. He had a younger brother named Johann II Bernoulli Daniel's mother came from a well-known wealthy family from Basel, Switzerland. His father came from a family of mathematician's and grew up will an inflectional brother, Jacob Bernoulli .
At the age of 13, Daniel's father, Johann Bernoulli, sent him to Basel University to learn philosophy and logic, at first. Later when he came back receiving his bachelor's degree and master's degree, he wanted to study in mathematics, but his dad want him to become a merchant. So he went back to Basel to study medicine.
Daniel lived for what he loved the most, his work. He was always busy with his life of a mathematician, so he never got married or had a children.
Daniel Bernoulli was known for being a physicist and a mathematician. He became famous for his work on hydrodynamics and also his work on the kinetic theory of gases. Hydrodynamics was book publiwshed by Daniel himself.
The hydrodynamics is used today by leading scientists and giving them more theories to work on. It also helped let scientist know how people thought before. These theories give the scientist something to think about and new methods to use.
