Storyboard Text

  • Economic factors shape Canada's immigration policies most.
  • The majority of immigrants that migrate to Canada are economic immigrants; skilled workers who look for a job in Canada
  • We need these workers for labour force growth to ensure our economic growth.
  • How have economic immigrants helped you in your store
  • Economic immigrants make up most of my staff without them i would have a hard time staying open
  • Economic immigrant cannot simply migrate to Canada. They need to complete a point system that judges ones skill, adaptability, age, and work experience.
  • To be considered by Canada's government, one must score at least 67 points in the system.
  • YAY! I scored a 67 on Canada's immigration point system. I now qualify to go into Canada!!!
  • Remember scoring a 67 dosnt mean you will get into Canada it just means that the government will consider your application.
  • Immigrants tend to settle in major cities like; Toronto Montreal and Vancouver.
  • This doesn't help achieve the objective to share economic benefits of immigrants across Canada. therefor in Canada has multiple job shortages in multiple provinces.
  • The Provincial Nomination Program allows these provinces to nominate a percent of immigrants, that Canada selects, to come settle in the province.
  • This increases the likelihood of skilled workers to come to provinces that need them.
  • Great to have you here
