Storyboard Text

  • Yes, you're clearly not fit to be king, and maybe even ot fit to live! Oh Scotland, Scotland!!
  • It seems that you are indeed loyal. All my words have been lies so far to test you. I'm really a good person. And I agree that we must go to war.
  • NOOO!! My wife and all of my beautiful children are dead! I'll have to turn my grief into anger, and KILL MACBETH!
  • Macduff! Macbeth has sent a murderer to your castle. He murdered your wife, as well as all your children! I'm sorry to inform you of this news...
  • Act 5
  • The blood from the old man... I'll never be able to wash it off!
  • Macduff shows his loyalty to Scotland and by doing so, passes Malcolm's test of trustworthyness.
  • My reign will be secure until Birnham Forest moves to Dunsinane. Bring me my armor!
  • My Lord, an army of ten thousand Englishmen approaches the castle.
  • Ross informs Macduff that his family has been murdered by Macbeth. Macduff shows an unusual amount of emotion for a man. He now has a personal vendettta against Macbeth.
  • Lord Siward, I suggest our soldiers carry branches from Birnham woods in order to disguise our numbers.
  • Good idea.
  • Doctor and maid witness Lady Macbeth having a hallucination and confessing her part in the murders of Duncan and Lady Macduff.
  • My Lord, the queen is dead...
  • I've done all of this for her. Now life really has no meaning to me...
  • Seyton informs Macbeth of the approaching army, but Macbeth isn't afraid of losing power because of the prophecy about Birnham forest moving to Dunsinane.
  • (Self-explanatory)
  • Seyton notifies Macbeth of Lady Macbeth's death. Macbeth speculates about how nothing is eternal and everything will eventually come to an end ("Tomorrow, Tomorrow", and Tomorrow speech).
