  • Atoms at a party
  • Hydrogen and Oxygen
  • All the elements had a reunion party, Hydrogen, Oxygen, Chlorine and Argon all met up and this is how it went.
  • Hydrogen and Chlorine
  • Hydrogen
  • oxygen
  • Chlorine
  • Argon
  • Hydrogen was talking to oxygen and realised that if she and one of her sisters share one valence electron each with oxygen then all three of them will be stable. Both the hydrogen sisters will have 2 valence electrons in their only shell and oxygen will have 8 valence electrons in its outer shell then they'll bond and become great friends.
  • Hydrogen and Argon
  • As hydrogen met up with oxygen she realised that sharing one of her valence electrons with chlorine will give chlorine 8 valence electrons and since hydrogen already has 2 valence electrons in her only shell they will both be stabilised as well as become good friends and bond.
  • The story with Hydrogen and argon is simple. Argon is a bit of a loner and despite hydrogen wanting to become friends, argon bonds with no one because she is already stable with 8 valence electrons
