Here, we have a sunflower that seems to have a feeding problem...
Yo, moon. I'm hungry. How do I go through that photo thing?
You mean photosynthesis? I don't know. Hold on, let me pass you on to my assistant.
Simple. Your an autotroph, so you can make your own food, unlike heterotrophs
See, when you go through photosynthesis, you make food which your body breaks down, in a process called cellular respiration, into ATP, a type of energy your body uses.
Fun Fact: A balanced chemical equation for photosynthesis is 6CO2+6H20 -> C6H12O6+602 and a balanced chemical equation for Cellular Respiration is C6H12O6+6O2 -> 6CO2+6H20
The sunflower goes through photosynthesis and all this happens the next day, and the next, and so on.
