BEWARE THE MINOTAUR
There was once an evil king named Minos. He had a dangerous maze called the Labyrinth that was filled with traps, poisonous plants, and, of course, the infamous Minotaur.
Whenever Minos wanted to exterminate someone, he threw the person into the Labyrinth. The person would wander around in the maze until being eaten by the Minotaur or dying by the traps.
Daedalus was an ingenious inventor who built many things for Minos, but got in trouble and was locked in the Labyrinth. He started making plans for how to escape his imprisonment.

Daedalus set to work. He had to work fast, since King Minos was planning to execute him.
Daedalus finished his invention . . . a pair of wings! He opened an air vent that blew him away, escaping King Minos and the Minotaur.
Later, a hero named Theseus slayed the Minotaur.
