• Kimberly is a hard working student that sometimes confuses the steps. In this writeup she wrote the text that should have been in her conclusion in her hypothesis. She believes that the point of the experiment is to prove the hypothesis correct.﻿

• if your experiment does not support your hypothesis. It is just as valuable to disprove a hypothesis as to prove it.  Next time I want you to write a hypothesis detailing what you think will happen before you perform the experiment. Keep up the hard work!
• Last year Andrew was homeless and did not go to school. He has huge gaps in his academic language but he has a natural understanding of the concepts. He is currently trying to solve the problem 8 minus 3.

This helped Andrew to pull out of his slump and built up his confidence.
