Storyboard Text

  • Surely you were taught by Athena!
  • I'm certainly better than Athena! I've learned nothing from Athena's teaching.
  • Athena accepts Arachne's challenge when she was disrespectful of her skills.
  • Athena worked more quickly and skillfully with her tapestries than Arachne, but Arachne still felt hers were lovelier, insulting the gods.
  • Vain girl, since you love to weave so very much, why don't you go and spin forever.
  • The moral of the story is that one shouldn't be disrespectful of others, or else, consequences happen.
  • By Dorothy Roggero and Nicole Thomas
