  • british took advantage of indias natural recourses and also to ensure other countries dont have a peice of indias trade
  • trade was the main goal for india other than the materailss gained or power over other countries trying to take a peice of the national pie
  • One of the major positive affects of the British temporarily taking control is that transportation, weapons and technology were brought in with Britain. The negative part is the shift in power gave a room for tension between the conqueror's and the local population
