Storyboard Text

  • You promised your family that you would not drink at a birthday party. A friend starts teasing you because you are not drinking. You are underaged and have no drinking experience. There is no adult supervision at the party and the teenagers there are becoming increasingly intoxicated. As the night goes on, the teenagers at the party begin to tease you and call you a wimp for not drinking.
  • Why are you not drinking? Are you scared?
  • No, I promised my parents that I wouldn't drink, they would ground me for an eternity if I did.
  • You had a good time at the party, making sure you didn't drink and politely said no when someone offered you a glass.
  • No thank you!
  • Do you want a drink?
  • As the party went on, you noticed people teasing you, yelling things like "scaredy-cat" or "she's a wimp" You had never had a drink before and didn't know how much was too much. You were scared about what others would think of you if you didn't drink, but you also didn't want to disappoint your parents
  • WIMP!
  • LOOSER!
  • In this situation, you have 2 choices, you could choose to drink at the party and risk harm coming your way and getting in trouble with your parents
  • Or you could choose not to drink, may get teased by the teenagers at the party, but you'll be able to get you and your friend home safely
  • What a goody-two-shoes
  • What a looser, won't even have a sip!
  • If you choose the first option, many risks can occur. You trip and hit your head because your drunk or you could get into a car with a drunk driver.
