"Poppy, Poppy, tell us a story! Tell us a story!" his grandkids said. "POPPY, WAKE UP!"
“Since you woke me up from my nap, I guess I have to tell you little munchkins a story now,” he said. “But which one?”
“Tell us the one about how Teddy Roosevelt saved the bear and he told you to shoot it and you both don’t and how the teddy bear was made and how it was named after him,” Mary said.
"Yeah, tell us that one!" said James.
“Alright, alright gather around the fire,” he said as they all gathered around him in his chair. “This is the story of how Teddy and I saved a little cub and how that influenced the creation of the teddy bear.”
