  • Odysseus and his men ride up on the shore of Island of cyclops.
  • Where are we now men.

  • Natural force nerved them; straight forward they sprinted, lifted it, and rammed it deep in his crater eye.
  • While he is asleep we will blind him.
  • Slung a man under each one to ride there safely.
  • Here each of you will get tied to a sheep.
  • Odysseus tells the cyclops he was the one who took his eye.
  • Put to shame and blinded, tell him Odysseus, raider of cities, took your eye.
  • I roused the men, gave orders to men the ships, cast off the morning lines; and filing in to sit beside the rowlocks.
