  • Eric is an 8-year-old student, he struggles with communicating his thought and he requires more time to complete tasks than other students. 
  • I’m going to check your work sheet, and we are going to solve another question.
  • In a Math class, students were discussing with their partners and finishing the work sheet. 
  • Eric, I like how you are still focused on getting the work done. Take your time and you can show me your answer once you’re finished
  • Eric was still in the middle of completing his work.
  • While students began the next problem, Eric finally finished and showed me his sheet with the correct answer. 
  • Thank you for continuing working on the problem, your answer is correct!
  • Eric immediately started to work on the next problem.
  • The positive recognition and praise can enhance the perseverance and confidence of students. Praise their effort to doing the work will help them self-motivated. And when they see their effort bore fruit, they will likely to take more challenge.
