The RMS Titanic starts her maiden voyage on April 10, 1912 out of Southampton to New York.
On April 11, 1912, the lookout crew spotted an iceberg right in front of the ship. When they notified the rest of the crew members, everyone was screaming and rushing to the control room. When the ship finally started to turn, it was too late...
CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Titanic strikes the iceberg with huge force! The ice berg rips the entire front left side of the boat open! Water starts to pour in! The sinking of the RMS Titanic has begun.
They are in the middle of the Northern Atlantic Ocean. Water is pouring in uncontrollably. Half the ship is already under water at 1:30 am.
The entire ship weighs 40,000 tons. Half of it is under water. 20,000 tons are in the air. The ship cannot hold 20,000 tons in the air, so it splits in half. The bow shoots down at an incredible speed to the bottom of the ocean while the stern is just floating on the surface.
At 2:20 am., the ship finally goes under water. Out of 2,200 souls on board that ship, only 705 survived. That is the story of how the RMS Titanic sank.
