Storyboard Text

  • Kia ora, room 12 tamariki.  I would like to explain your task.
  • Over the next couple of weeks you will be writing your own myth or legend.
  • Oh wow.  Thanks Miss J.
  • This is a journey we will travel together.  You will need to follow these steps: 1.  Plan your story. 2. Write your story in your "Miss J's Literacy book". 3. Proof-read and edit. 4.  Miss J will check it. 5.  Decide on your presentation. 6.  Present your work.
  • This is what you need to include in your story: Characters Setting Build up (a clue to a problem that will occur) Problem (what does your main character have to overcome?) A moral, message, or just a story about how something came to be.
  • What do we need to include Miss J?
  • I'm wondering if these are the only ways you can present your stories: * This programme I'm using (Storyboardthat.com) *Google Slides *A storybook
  • Hey you haven't said what makes our writing successful.
  • Right then...Let's decide our success criteria together.
