7:30 in the morning, thirty minutes before school starts.
I wonder if I should go to school or skip it and go to the mall instead.
Today is the last day to take the SAT................... but the my favorite store has a huge sale!
Later that day.....
I'm so glad I came to the mall. Today's the last day for the sale! The SAT isn't that important, right?
The next morning.....
By the way Stacey, yesterday was your seventh unexcused absence in a month. You have a week of afterschool detention.
Oh, come on!
Good morning class. I hope everyone took the SAT yesterday. It is required to get into college.
Oh no! I can't go to college now because I didn't take the SAT, and on top of that I have a week of detention! I never should have skipped school.
