Exposition: Christian had been fishing early on an early Sunday morning, six days before his 18th birthday. He caught a large fish, but had been to quick to reel it in, and the string broke.
Rising Action: Christian had gotten an A+ on a very important test. He wanted to feel proud so he "accidentally" showed another kid his grade.
Rising Action: The kid that Christian had shown his grade to did not get a very good grade. He followed Christian told him that he cheated, and that he would tell on Christian. Christian got mad and punched the kid in the face.
Rising Action: Christian's mom had come up to visit. He hides the fact that he punched a kid from her.
Climax: Christian gets suspended. The kid he punched was very influential and his nose was broken. Christian's mom now knows.
Resolution: Christian sits alone at the end of his dock. He ponders his life and realizes that he rushes into everything. He walks inside and waits for his birthday.
