Later then most of the soldiers sold there certificates for money at very low prices. I do not think that it was right to do that if they fought they should have been paid because they risked there lives for yours. After the war the Mass Legislatures had to pay off dept so they raised taxes
The farmers weren't making any money off their crops so they had no money to pay taxes and most of them were thrown in jail and the farmers were very mad and scared that they were going to lose their farm

On August 29th in North Hampton an armed group of farmers closed the Hamshire country court of common pleas bringing all foreclosers to a halt.On September 25th - 28th Shays band of 600 farmers occupied the Springfield courthouse and prevented the Supreme Judicial Court from sitting there.
Shays new plan was they would do a surprise attack and overrun the new federal arsenal at Springfield. he needed a new plan because he had fled last time the results of that was after that 5 men were hung
