I was just in a car accident and I am experiencing some difficulty breathing and a fast heart rate.
Hi, I'm the Xray Tech and I'm here to take you for your chest xray.
The patient was experiencing tachycardia, along with an increased pulse. He was also breathing rapidly. His chief complaint was chest pain.
I'm beginning to feel dizzy and clammy.
The doctor told him that he was just worked up from the accident.
The patient was then able to be discharged.
Once the patient got home, he then still had some chest pain that began to spread to his jaw, and he began to experience restlessness and anxiety, along with a decreased urinary output. He then came back to the emergency room.
The patient then started to go into cardiogenic shock.
The emergency team was called and the patient was placed into Semi-Fowler's position.
