  • The kingdom of Ghana Lasted from 500 C.E. to its collapse in the 1200s.
  • Ghana was ruled over by a powerful king.
  • Camels helped traders to get to Ghana since camels could survive days without food or water.
  • Wangara gold miners where in search of gold and traders were too, but only the Wangara really knew where it lay. 
  • Ghanas trades were paid by people that came into trade thing and when people were leaving and they had bought some thing from Ghana.
  • Kumbi was the largest trade market. When ready to trade would bang on a drum to symbolize the trade started.
