  • Lusia Harris is a former women's basketball player in the WNBA. She was born on February 10, 1955 in Minter City, Mississippi. Lusia is the tenth out of eleven children. She is currently 63 years old.
  • Lusia finished her college career with 2,981 points and 1,662 points. Also, Harris scored the first ever basket in the olympics for women’s basketball. She earned a gold medal as a member of the 1975 U.S Pan American Team. Lastly, Lusia Harris was selected as MVP of the AIAW tournament each of the years and she won the honda broderick cup as the best college athlete in any sport in 1977.
  • Lusia Harris is an inspiration for many young basketball players and young women. She didn't let anyone stop her for pursuing her dream as a basketball player and she earned many awards. She is also important because she set many records for Women basketball players.
