“A lady is always charming. A good start to being charming is smiling and complimenting people more.” “I really like your shirt. It is a beautiful color.”
“You’ll never believe what happened to me the other day! A tiger ran in front of my car!! Did you know wild tigers live in Rochester?? It’s amazing!”
Step 5. Remember never to interrupt. It is rude and unladylike to correct someone mid-sentence. A lady does not act like a know-it-all and does not brag about herself.
Guest’s voice returns to normal volume. “So did you hear what happened over at Niagara Falls?” Host: “Yeah, didn’t someone go over in a barrel again?” Voices fade, conversation continues in background. Voiceover: A lady is educated and can carry a conversation. This requires being well-read and staying up-to-date on the current events of the world.
"Step six. You’re almost there! Now we’re going to talk about proper etiquette at a dinner. Don’t forget to keep that good posture, and make sure your elbows are not on the table.”
Transition to chest up shot of host looking into camera. “And there you have it. You are now ready to be a lady on a date! Just remember these steps and you’ll do fine. And don’t forget. Ladies NEVER swear or use profanity. Have a great day!”
