Storyboard Description

A scientist goes on a dangerous quest to find a cure for a disease, but he certainly doesn't seem the type to go on dangerous quests. Does he have what it takes to complete this quest-and make it out alive? Or will the poor victims of the disease be left to die?

Storyboard Text

  • You're going to get that cure and that's final!
  • Matthew the scientist must find a cure, and his friends have selected him to go on this dangerous quest, though he is scared and very reluctant. But his fellow co-workers believe in him and find him best for this quest.
  • THE CALL TO ADVENTURE
  • Wait-WHAT? THIS IS ABUSE!
  • Just go with it...
  • Matthew enters the forest, unsure of what to expect. He has never ventured this far before. As he enters deeper into the forest, he notices strange things and starts to feel uncertain and unsafe.
  • ENTERING THE UNKNOWN
  • Where AM I? I don't even see anything! How suspicious!
  • Further into the quest, Matthew finds out his ordinary magnet is magical, and he feels safer and puts it to good use as he wards off enemies and overcomes other obstacles.
  • Traveling north...
  • This is a magical magnet? Plot twist!
  • TALISMAN
  • NO! MAGNETISM! GOODBYE WORLD!
  • Along the way, Matthew encounters and receives help from a renown and deceased physicist, Dorwan Cherbol. He gives him advice and warnings and tells him what exactly to do.
  • Er...should I know you? Are you here to help?
  • Yes! I am Dorwan Cherbol! And that cure...I made. Use the magnet to pull yourself along and watch out for the Repeller!
  • SUPERNATURAL AID
  • TESTS & THE SUPREME ORDEAL
  • Matthew finally reaches his final destination and faces his greatest enemy: the Repeller. He must defeat him to get to the cure to the disease. But it will not be easy because the Repeller has a very powerful weapon.
  • You will never get past me!
  • Not if I can help it!
  • Managing to defeat the Repeller, Matthew takes and brings the magical cure home. His friends celebrate his glory with him and many are cured of the disease.
  • REWARD & THE JOURNEY HOME
  • Congrats!
  • YEAH!
  • YAY! YOU DID IT!
