  • After Napoleon, the emperor of France, was defeated at the Battle of Leipzig, he was removed from power and exiled. He later escaped and returned to France to raise another powerful army. He was eventually defeated for the last time at the Battle of Waterloo.

  • Today we have witnessed the first loss of the undefeated Auburn Tigers.
  • This Auburn football team has really met their Waterloo at the hands of the Crimson Tide.
  • Trace Naman -- D Period
  • This Auburn football team seemed to be unstoppable. They beat everyone by more than three touchdowns every game except for the Iron Bowl. Alabama had held them scoreless for the whole game and absolutely destroyed them. Meeting one's Waterloo refers to a crushing and decisive defeat.
