  • Harvey was an english physician who was the first to describe accurately how blood was blood pumped around the body by the heart. His discovery was received with great interest in England, although it was greeted with some scepticism on the content. Harvey was also the first to suggest that humans and other mammals reproduced via the fertilisation of an egg by sperm.
  • Johannes Kepler
  • The radius vector describes equal areas in equal times
  • English physicist and mathematician Sir Isaac Newton, most famous for his law of gravitation, was instrumental in the scientific revolution of the 17th century. The 20th century, Albert Einstein would overturn Newton's concept of the universe, stating that space, distance and motion were not absolute but relative, and that the universe was more fantastic than Newton had ever conceived.

  • In the early 1600's scientist Johannes Kepler expanded on copernicus's theory. After studying detailed obversations, Kepler figured out that the orbits of the planets were oval not circles. Kepler was known for inventing eyeglasses. Today eye glasses are still used today for reading and seeing.
  • Johaness Kepler had invented eyeglasses so that people who were both near and far sighted would be able to have there vision corrected.
  • Issac Newton had invented cat doors. One big hole for the mom cat and two small holes for the kittens. They are used today for cats and they are placed in our homes and many more places.
