Storyboard Text

  • Should we use $600 billion dollars to send humans to Mars?
  • No, that money should be used for health care benefits, education spending, and important programs.
  • Exploring Mars might be important to our space program but, we shouldn't send humans.
  • Instead we should continue using probes because probes have proven to be useful in the past and is cheaper to send to space than humans.
  • If we send probes instead humans then we will be able to use the $600 billion dollars for a far more better use on Earth.
  • Right now I think the better choice is to wait until we master technology so we can send astronauts to Mars safely and efficiently.
  • Like researching new launch systems and advanced propulsion.
  • After we invent and create launch systems and advanced propulsion then I think the time to go to Mars is ready.
  • But until then, Mars will still be there when technology is developed.
