the theory of continentle drift was created by alfred wegner he discoverd that the continents coast lines look like they fit together like puzzle pieces
the landmass that was 250million years ago together as one was called Pangea thats the name alfred wegner named it.
the four pices of evidence include the same fossils that were found on different continents. The climate was the same on coastal reagions. The same geology was the same on different continents. And the glaciers were also part of the climate. The mountains were also once together as one the appalachian mountains once fit together until sea floor spreading.
