Widow Douglas takes Huck in as her son but tried to civilize Huck which he was having non of. "She took me for her son, and allowed she would sivilize me." This scene is important because it begins the story and shows Huck not wanting to be civilized.
Pap Fin waits in Huck room to ask him about the money. Lucky Huck had already given the money to the judge. You git me that money tomorrow, I want it." This scene is important because is show Pap for the first time and how bad he is.
Huck goes to Jim to learn about why his Pap is looking for him. Jim uses a magic hair ball he got from an Ox. "So the hair balled talked to Jim and Jim told it to me." This scene shows us why Pap is here.
Huck gives all his money to the judge so that Pap Fin can't get a hold of it. "Please take it...and don't ask me nothing." This shows Huck being clever and protecting his money.
Huck fakes his own death with the blood of a boar that he killed. "I shot this fellow and took him into camp." This again shows Huck using his head to get out if a situation
Pap Fin gets extremely drunk and awakes from his sleep and begin chasing Huck around with a knife. "He chased me round and round the place with a clasp knife." This just shows you how bad Pap really is and why Huck needs to escape.
